In celebration of ancient walls

Where humanity’s pioneers established symbolic resistance

And liberated captivating tales:

When they discovered

The difference between scream and language

Their reflection in the river

Eternal.

The chariot faster in circles

Around the circle they circled

Learning warmth of fire.

Hopes carved on smooth rocks

Fears of an unknown world contained.

“Aliya” drawn in cave corners

An amulet against harsh losses.

Her heart depicted

A precautionary measure

Pulsating sound echoing.

The stab etched from behind

Stories of blood for a future passerby.

Contained dance

From winds’ movement on branches

Sound of a missed arrow fading.

Engraved rare catch

Before horns became ornaments

Before a basalt table

Where dreams gather intact

Read with clarity

After thousands of years.
